Good news!

Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) are now recognized and regulated by the Province of BC—Psychotherapy has been officially designated as a health profession under the Health Professions Act alongside other health care professionals.

Regulation of the psychotherapy profession will increase public protection and expand access to counsellors, leading to better mental health outcomes for the public.
